here’s a love poem, which is not really my forte…but it is how i feel about the person i wrote it for…
i feel like the color pearl-gray
when you’re leaving for the day
you are my sunrise; rays of your love
have swirled magenta into my melancholy mauve
all of those erogenous zones you lit upon last night
are basking in the afterglow, emitting soft white
my dreams are rich with color, there’s a rainbow in my head
i can see you in the darkness like my sight was infrared
amethyst and sapphire, emerald and jade
every precious jewel known, in every shape and every shade
sparkle in your eyes and reflect deep in my heart
painted here eternally is proof that love is art
i feel as if i’m swimming in a sea of cerulean blue
when you come home at night and i lie in bed with you
you’ve wiped away the tears that once made all my colors run
and made me like a prism, iridescent in the morning sun
Sounds as if you lead a very colourful life!
