spiritually speaking, does this "meaning of life" appeal to you?
its not really a meaning of life, rather a simple purpose
that being, i will live for the sunset.
ive always loved the sky and the clouds, sometimes trying to draw it up or sketch the light splitting through the clouds, the pink tinges outlining each individual vapour cloud, the gentle colour changes from black to orange to crimson and mauve, bright pink to bright yellow, deep indigo fading into light blue.
i figure a simple daily goal is to live for the sunset. where i live i view it dropping into the sea which is simply magnificent but i remember when i couldnt see where it dropped due to a building but the sky is just as beautiful.
the source of all religions is the worshipping of the sun, from pagans celebrating the winter solstice to aztecs cutting out human hearts (some willingly giving their heart) for the sun.
so... living for the sunset is reliable, its always there and if you fail one day, there is always the next. (unless a car goes through you...)
Spiritually Speaking, I believe that the major purpose of life it to find its meaning. Sure, Watch the sunset as long as you can - its just a pleasurable activity for you. But do remember even this will become a pain for you after something just like any relationship.
