Alright my friends and I got together and while talking, one of them got mad at me for calling another friend cute. He said "great going, Key. You compared him to a little puppy".
Personally, I get called cute all of the time (among other things), and have never seen it that way. I always took it as a compliment, but now he has me thinking.
How do you all view the description cute?

cute..... to me is a way of complimenting a person that looks attractive or pretty. Cute is a little puppy quite alright but when using for personification, it's a compliment.
