Help my glass fish keeps going head first into the gravel?
I bought a glass fish today to replace the one that died and my dad help the bag the whole way home and when i was looking into the tank he was head first into the gravel and i dont know why can someon please help
I hope it is not a painted glass fish. Painted glass fish are injected with dye with a needle and die soon after the injection. They are only for decoration, and do not live long.
Otherwise, maybe there is something wrong with the fishes swimbladder. The swim bladder is what helps the fish float or sink... It could have failed from the stress of bringing it home, temperature shock, or dirty water. Maybe you stressed it out by bringing it home and introducing it too fast to a new tank.
Test the water, because that could be the problem.
If the swim bladder failed, theres nothing you can really do but see if it heals itself...
