Enamel wearing off baby's teeth?
My 7 month old son has 5 teeth, and the enamel on his top 2 seems to be wearing off. He doesn't have any sugary foods or drinks, and the only thing he has in a bottle is milk or water.
He is on heart medication twice a day, but the doctors said they can't see why that would be causing it, and to take him to a dentist. The dentist won't see babies that young, and the only advice they gave me was to not put him to bed with a bottle. I brush his teeth daily, and he has a soft tooth brush to chew on.
Putting him to bed with a bottle is the only way he will go to sleep, and I due to him heart problem, I can't let him cry himself to sleep.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do about his teeth? I don't want him to have a mouth full of rotten teeth 
He doesnt have juice, or any other liquids other than formula and water. I've tried dummies, but he just spits them out withim 30 seconds, and he won't go to sleep with water. I'll try cleaning his mouth out after feeds.
My mother put all of us down with bottles and it made no difference to OUR teeth... Espically if it only has water in it how could that possibly be a problem?
If I were you I'd find another dentist somewhere that will see the baby and will be able to give you a better idea of what to do. Also, it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion.
